Winter Solstice, is the traditional festival in China, from which day the daytime getting longer while the nighttime getting shorter gradually, and it is also the start of first “ nine-day” counting. On this special day, the northern part of China shall get together with family and have dumplings at the table meaning to resist the coming extreme cold winter.
